DMCA & Takedown Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026🚩 Need something removed? If you believe content on BenefitsFromBenefits violates your rights, infringes your intellectual property, or contains unauthorized use of your company's benefits, follow the process below to request removal.
1. Overview
BenefitsFromBenefits ("the Platform") respects intellectual property rights and the policies of employers and organizations. We respond promptly to legitimate takedown requests from rights holders, employers, and authorized representatives.
This policy covers requests to remove content that:
- Infringes copyrights or trademarks
- Contains unauthorized use of corporate benefits or programs
- Violates an employer's benefit transfer policies
- Contains fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content
- Violates any applicable law
2. How to Submit a Takedown Request
To request the removal of content from the Platform, please provide the following information:
Required Information
- Your identity: Full name, organization/company name, and your role or title
- Contact information: Email address and phone number where you can be reached
- Content identification: A clear description or link to the specific listing(s) you want removed, including any listing IDs visible in the detail view
- Basis for removal: Explain why the content should be removed (e.g., IP infringement, unauthorized benefit transfer, employer policy violation, fraud)
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder, their agent, or the law
- Accuracy statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature

3. How We Process Requests
📋 Our process: We aim to review and act on legitimate takedown requests within 48 hours of receipt.
- Receipt: We acknowledge your request within 24 hours
- Review: We evaluate the request for completeness and legitimacy
- Action: If valid, we remove or disable access to the identified content
- Notification: If possible, we notify the user who posted the content (without sharing the requester's personal information)
- Record: We maintain a record of the takedown request and action taken
4. Counter-Notification
If your listing was removed due to a takedown request and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:
- Your identity and contact information
- Identification of the removed content
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake
- Consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court
- Your physical or electronic signature
5. Repeat Infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating access for users who are found to be repeat infringers. Users who receive multiple valid takedown notices may have their access to the Platform permanently revoked.
6. Employer-Specific Requests
We recognize that employers have a legitimate interest in protecting their benefit programs. If you are an employer or HR representative and discover that your company's benefits are being shared in violation of your policies:
- You may submit a takedown request using the process above
- Please include documentation of the relevant company policy
- We will remove the listing and, where possible, inform the poster that their employer's policy prohibits the transfer
7. DMCA Safe Harbor
BenefitsFromBenefits operates as an online platform under Section 512 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. As a platform, we:
- Do not create, endorse, or verify user-generated listings
- Act expeditiously to remove infringing content upon receiving valid notices
- Have designated an agent to receive DMCA notices (see contact below)
- Maintain a policy of terminating repeat infringers
8. Limitations
Please note:
- We cannot guarantee complete removal of content that has already been viewed, copied, or shared
- We are not responsible for content posted by users
- Submitting a false or misleading takedown request may result in legal liability
- We reserve the right to reject requests that we determine to be frivolous, abusive, or not submitted in good faith
